All our radiologists are board certified by the American Board of Radiology and have received subspecialty fellowship training following their residences in diagnostic imaging. They are supported by highly skilled and certified technologists, who have also received specialized training in their specific areas.  Armed with the latest equipment, you can always count on our physicians and technologists to deliver high quality and cost effective imaging services.

We are available for consultation between 8:00am – 11:00pm, and we encourage referring physicians to call us whenever they find it beneficial to discuss an individual case.

Image Gently- The Alliance for Radiation Safety in Pediatric Imaging

Tualatin Imaging, P.C. is proud to join the Alliance for Radiation Safety in Pediatric Imaging in its pledge to increase the awareness of the opportunities to lower radiation dose in the imaging of pediatric patients. We continually adjust our imaging techniques to reduce exposure and avoid a potentially harmful dose of radiation.


Tualatin Imaging’s Efforts

Tualatin Imaging has taken several steps to follow the recommendations of the Image Gently Campaign. Our exams are tailored to limit radiation exposure per current American College of Radiology recommendations. In addition, the Image Gently campaign recommends the following guidelines:

  • Image when there is a clear medical benefit
  • Use the lowest amount of radiation for adequate imaging based on the size of the child
  • Image only the indicated areas
  • Avoid multiple scans
  • Use alternative diagnostic studies (such as ultrasound or MRI) when possible.
